ABOUT US
Born in Southern California, Nelson was raised in Saranac Lake, New York, a village nestled within the Adirondack Mountains. He attended high school there and received his Associates Degree in Business Administration from North Country Community College, graduating with honors. In 1998, he moved to Monterey, CA where he attended California State University, Monterey Bay, receiving his Bachelors Degree in Telecommunications, Multimedia, and Applied Computing. He joined the alumni association after graduation, having served as the chief financial officer and president for over four years.
After college, Nelson began working for a renowned defense contractor and a year later began his career with the U.S. Government as a Product Manager.
To be closer to family, Nelson relocated back to New York in 2013. He now calls Queensbury, New York home.
Prior to moving to California, Nelson held a New York State notary public commission. While living in the Golden State, he secured a commission there as well. Recently, he earned his notary commission and this time decided to turn it into a small side business as a mobile notary. He is exploring an opportunity to do part-time work as a signing agent. Nelson never likes to sit still or stop learning!
When he is not working or doing notarial acts, Nelson likes to spend time with his husband and their two golden retrievers, Scout and Wilson. They keep the family quite busy!

A native of Glens Falls, NY, Nelson attended high school there having received a Regents Diploma. While in school, he began employment with a supermarket chain where he has worked since as a dedicated and hard-working employee. Nelson worked his way from a grocery bagger to cashier, then onward as a front-end assistant manager. After that, he was tapped to be a front-end (customer service) manager at a newly-opened store in the heart of the Adirondacks. After spending over three years there, he moved back home where he became a deli manager. After a successful tenure in that role, he applied for and was selected as an assistant store manager where he is highly successful overseeing several department managers.
When he is not working or doing notarial acts, Nelson likes to spend time with his husband and their two golden retrievers, Scout and Wilson. He also enjoys gardening, biking, and running.
